Managing Partner

Edward Owusu Ansah

I am an experienced Director in health, social care and private equity.

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and I studied private markets investments and sustainable finance at Oxford University.
My business career began in 2014 when I established a provider of home care in the midlands and built the business from zero to multi million revenue in five years. To date the business has supported thousands of vulnerable adults to remain in the comfort of their own homes with care and support. The business also supports numerous local government customers and the NHS to manage care at home for citizens.

We successfully sold 50% of the business in early 2023. The business is continuing to grow organically and through acquisitions and aims to grow 5x within 5 years.

In 2021 I started ANS Capital. Our first investment was in real estate completing the purchase of a residential block of apartments in Sutton Coldfield for a seven-figure sum in 2021. The acquisition was successful, and the asset continues to be managed successfully and profitably.

In 2023 we also acquired a site in the midlands from a local authority as a JV with an experienced operator, to provide specialist transitional residential care to 16–24-year-olds with mental health and learning difficulties. The investment is performing well with healthy MOIC and IRR.

We are now using a buy and build strategy within specialist care, with exposure to property and operations through separate operating entities (prop co/op co). I now offer my services to sophisticated investors such as family offices, who wish to coinvest with me, so I can execute on bigger opportunities using my track record as an entrepreneur over almost a decade and education/skills in finance, specifically in private equity and sustainable finance.

Network I work with a network of partners in the United Kingdom that I have built during my business career. This includes lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, corporate finance providers, other entrepreneurs and business executives.
ANS Capital Partners benefits from an extremely strong network which provides us with consistent deal flows, capabilities and at times, unique opportunities to capitalise on.
